America’s Cup Newport RI
The America’s Cup world Series teams were warmly welcomed to Newport tonight at the AC Village at Fort Adams. The Ravers kicked the evening off in front of a crowd of more than 2,000 fans and the teams were welcomed with remarks from Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafee, Newport Mayor Steve Waluk and America’s Cup veteran Gary Jobson. Sail Newport’s Brad Read served as master of ceremonies.

Admission to the AC Village is ticked over the next four days. The AC World Series runs from June 28th – July 1st.
