Three local women had the chance encounter of a lifetime last weekend when they hung out with Bill Murray, Ed Norton and Bruce Willis during filming of the Wes Anderson movie Moonrise Kingdom. Kellie Faria, Bethany Hilton and Kaitlin Coleman met up with the Hollywood stars at at the Standish Boatyard in Tiverton.

The boatyard, managed by Ken and Denise Hilton, is being used as a staging area for Moonrise Kingdomwhile the cast and crew shoot scenes off of Fogland in Tiverton.
This summer Newport is abuzz with sightings of these Hollywood heavyweights tearing up the Newport nightlife scene. Recently Bill Murray was seen rocking out to The HonkyTonk Nights and Ed Norton and Wes Anderson were spotted having dinner at the famed Clarke Cooke House on Bannister’s Wharf. It’s great to see that these A-Lister’s are enjoying the many splendors of Newport, RI and from all reports they are incredibly down to earth and gracious.
