We’ve seen them racing each other and playfully bickering to fill their ticket quotas. We’ve also witnessed one meter maid forcing driver occupied Taxi Cabs to vacate the area between The Pelham and the arcade as they wait for new passengers ! (note to the meter maids: It’s difficult enough to find a Taxi Cab in Newport, RI on the best of nights. Chill out a bit and just stand in front of a parking meter and do your ants in the pants dance as you anxiously await it’s expiration so you more than likely stick it to a local who’s less than a block away!)
