Stephen Thomas Maher, 73, of Newport, R.I, passed away on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018.
Stephen was born in Newport, RI to James Maher and Mary Toppa on December 3rd, 1944. He went to high school at Rogers. He was the owner and general contractor of Seatown Construction. He enjoyed playing & writing his own music, restoring antiques and was an avid woodworker.
Stephen is survived by his children, Kyla Maher, Marial Maher, AJ Maher, Stephanie Maher, Rachel Maher, and Chelsea Noel. His grandchildren Yosh Kaiser, Jaxson Kaiser, Mason Noel and Avery Noel. He was also survived by his family members Alexandra Kelly, Michael Maher and James Maher. He preceded in death by his father & mother and also his brother Patrick Maher.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at One Pelham East (270 Thames Street) on Saturday, October 13th from 9 am – 12 pm. Open to the public.
