UPDATE: 8:00pm

Tiger Woods suffered serious injuries to both his legs after a single-vehicle rollover crash Tuesday morning near Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Time is reporting that Woods has a shattered ankle and two leg fractures.

Golf Digest says Tiger was scheduled to arrive at Riviera Golf Course at 7:30 AM PT for a shoot … he was reportedly going to give Drew Brees lessons according to TMZ.

“The cabin of the vehicle was more or less intact, the front end was totally destroyed, the bumpers, everything was destroyed, airbags deployed all of that,” Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva sadi. “However, thankfully the interior was more or less intact, which kind of gave him the cushion to survive what otherwise would’ve been a fatal crash.”

Woods’ vehicle “was going at a relatively greater speed than normal,” Villanueva said, adding that there were “no skid marks, no braking.”

There were no signs of drugs or alcohol, but that is under investigation.

Previous reports said Woods was extricated from his vehicle by the Jaws of Life. Those reports were untrue.
