We’re absolutely bursting at the seams with fall We’re absolutely bursting at the seams with fall feelings. 🍁🍷

We just got word @greenvalevinyards’ 26th Annual Harvest Festival is happening Saturday, November 1st, 11–6pm, and yes — we’ve already laid out our flannels.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year (don’t @ us, December).Think live music from The Brian James Quartet (1–4pm), wine tastings with a view, crackling fire pits, and the smell of delicious food from @aquidneckislandoysters, @newportchowdercompany, @farm_to_sandwich, @theperkyturkeyri & more. We sip wine, we eat, we mingle, we stand by the fire pretending we’re in a Ralph Lauren ad, hot chocolate in one hand, Pinot Noir in the other — because balance.

There’ll also be tours of the winery, a photo booth (so yes, the flannels will be documented), and a dreamy artisan market full of local makers.

Greenvale Vineyards is one of the most beautiful, historic family farms in Rhode Island — six generations strong and overlooking the Sakonnet River — and this Harvest Fest captures everything we love about fall on Aquidneck Island.

So grab your friends, your kiddos, your pups, your cozy sweaters, and come hang. This is one of our favorite events of the year — and you’ll understand why by your second glass. 🍂❤️

NEWPORT, R.I. — @pivotalbrewingnewport announced NEWPORT, R.I. — @pivotalbrewingnewport announced it plans to part ways with its Newport location at 140 Broadway, the former home of the beloved Salvation Café, saying that while the space has been “fantastic,” it doesn’t align with the company’s long-term vision.

“We came here to grow our beverage business—not to run a restaurant or event venue—and this spot just isn’t built for that vision,” the brewery said in a statement. “When we’re not on the right track, we pivot, because when you know, you know.”

The company said it will continue operating in the space while seeking a buyer or new tenant to take over the lease. The property is described as turnkey, with built-in event areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and an outdoor beer garden with a tiki bar. A full Newport liquor license is also available for sale.

Pivotal emphasized that its Bristol headquarters remains the company’s home base and will continue operations as usual. “Nothing changes at our main Bristol location,” the statement said. “That’s still home base and business as usual, with the continued focus on innovating and perfecting our craft.”

Those interested in the Newport opportunity are encouraged to contact the brewery directly at info@pivotalbrewing.com.

The company clarified that it is not selling any part of its brand—only the Newport building lease and liquor license.

President Donald Trump warned Tuesday that Boston President Donald Trump warned Tuesday that Boston could lose its 2026 World Cup matches if city officials don’t get tougher on crime.

“We could take them away,” Trump said of the seven games scheduled at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough — dubbed “Boston Stadium” for the tournament. “I love the people of Boston, and I know the games are sold out. But your mayor is not good.”

The president took aim at Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, calling her “intelligent but radical left,” and accused city leaders of letting “parts of Boston be taken over,” without elaborating.

“If somebody is doing a bad job, and if I feel there are unsafe conditions, I would call Gianni — the head of FIFA, who’s phenomenal — and I would say, ‘Let’s move it to another location,’” Trump said. “He wouldn’t love to do it, but he’d do it very easily.”

Wu answered in a statement Tuesday night, saying: “Boston is honored and excited to host World Cup matches, and we look forward to welcoming fans from around the world to our beautiful city, the cradle of liberty and city of champions.”

Gillette Stadium, home to the New England Patriots, is slated to host seven of the 104 matches when the U.S., Mexico and Canada share hosting duties for the 2026 tournament.

FIFA, not the White House, controls host cities. “It’s FIFA’s tournament, FIFA’s jurisdiction,” said FIFA Vice President Victor Montagliani earlier this month.

Trump also took a swipe at Los Angeles, suggesting he could move the 2028 Summer Olympics if that city isn’t “ready.”
