The Great White Shark Who Was Rescued After Being Stranded On A Chatham Beach Is Back!!!

One year ago today, a 7-foot juvenile great white shark was discovered stranded on the beach in Chatham, MA when beach-goers, Chatham Harbormasters Stuart Smith and Jason Holm, Atlantic White Shark Conservancy and Dr. Greg Skomal of the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries sprung to the rescue.

Check out the amazing video!

Prior to being revived and released, Dr. Skomal tagged the shark and named him Jameson, and today the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy announced that Jameson has returned to Cape Cod! He was detected on a receiver off Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge on June 29, 2016. Stay tuned for updates on Jamison throughout the season!
