The vessel is considered a total loss, but both individuals onboard managed to safely escape using their dinghy. They were met and assisted by the Coast Guard. No injuries were reported. The incident occurred near a hazardous stretch of shoreline known for its steep, unstable bluffs. Officials are urging the public to stay away from the wreck site. “Do not climb over the fence to get photos or take a closer look,” authorities warned. The area is extremely dangerous, and any rescue operation triggered by trespassers could put responders at serious risk.
