Linda Goodwin Hall of River Place 100, Daytona Beach, FL passed away peacefully May 25, 2025.
She was born Dec 16, 1948. She was a student at Atlantic Union College for 1 year and then transferred to URI where she received both her undergraduate degree and her masters in education.
A woman of strong faith and glowing personality, Linda had an extremely generous heart and was very selfless. She taught kindergarten, pre-1, and multi age K from 1971- 2003 at Underwood school in Newport, Rhode Island.
In 2013 she went to Florida to take care of her dad in his condo where she met many friends and decided to stay.
Linda was very generous with the people of her condo building at River Place 100, serving as secretary of the board and emergency contact for the building for 10 years. Through this service she was able to get to know most of the residents at the condo.
Her passions were to caning furniture, birding and nature, board games, bocce, cooking for her family, and spending time with her grandchildren, daughter, and son-in-law.
She was preceded in passing by her father Albert Goodwin and her mother Dorothy Brenda Goodwin (Scott).
She is survived by her former husband Jeffery Hall, beloved daughter Allison Westerside, son-in-law Tim Westerside, granddaughter Rain Westerside and grandson Clayton Westerside. Also surviving are her brother Fred Cook and wife Anne, cousins Andy Curtis, Nancy Curtis and Nancy’s brother Ron Nieb, and nephew Randy Bock.
