A GoFundMe has been launched for 17-year-old Aar A GoFundMe has been launched for 17-year-old Aaron Delgado, a Portsmouth High School junior who remains in the ICU following the devastating incident last weekend at the Portuguese American Citizens Club. Aaron has already undergone four surgeries at Rhode Island Hospital and faces a long road to recovery, according to her aunt, Dawn Delgado, who started the fundraiser. Aaron is described as a dedicated member of the school’s color guard and dance team, with a calm and quiet demeanor and a smile that “lights up a room.” Her aunt wrote that “family and friends are the most important things to her.” “As many of you know, last Saturday we all as a community endured a traumatic event,” the fundraiser states. “With the burden of upcoming medical bills any donation would be greatly appreciated.” The community has begun rallying around the Delgado family, but much more support is needed as Aaron continues to fight through intensive treatment and recovery. The New England Patriots will officially unveil a The New England Patriots will officially unveil a 12-foot-tall statue of Tom Brady outside Gillette Stadium on August 8, 2025, ahead of their preseason game against the Washington Commanders. The date was fittingly announced on “Tom Brady Day,” June 12 (6/12), a nod to the quarterback’s six Super Bowl wins and iconic jersey number. The statue will stand alone in the plaza outside the Patriots Hall of Fame, honoring Brady’s legacy not only as the greatest Patriot, but arguably the greatest to ever play the game. Brady, 47, transformed the Patriots into an NFL dynasty during his 20-year tenure, earning six Super Bowl titles, nine AFC Championships, and 17 AFC East crowns. Drafted 199th overall in 2000, he defied all expectations and rewrote the record books. He holds NFL records for wins (251), completions (7,753), pass attempts (12,050), passing yards (89,214), and touchdown passes (649). His postseason dominance is unmatched: 35 wins, 10 Super Bowl appearances, seven rings (including one with Tampa Bay), and five Super Bowl MVP awards. The Patriots waived their standard four-year waiting period to induct Brady into their Hall of Fame in June 2024, celebrating his career in front of a sold-out Gillette Stadium.
