Cuomo New York City Indoor Dining Ban

New York City Bans Indoor Dining Beginning December 14th

After a month long rise in Covid-19 cases, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced during his Friday news conference that indoor dining would end in New York City starting Monday, December 14th.  Mayor Bill de Blasio fully supports the restriction.

Outdoor dining and takeout orders will be allowed to continue in the city.

The governor’s order came despite major opposition from the restaurant industry, which warned of holiday season layoffs and restaurant closings.
