There’s A New Low-Cost Non-Stop Bus Service From Providence, R.I. To New York City

GO Buses, known for its affordable, safe, reliable and professional bus service between New York City and Boston, today announced an expansion of service with a new regular route between downtown Providence, Rhode Island and Midtown Manhattan. This new route will be offering three trips daily each way as of November 16, 2015.

Since 2014, GO Buses has been owned and operated by Academy Bus, the largest privately owned and operated bus company in the United States and a recognized leader in the ground transportation industry.

With introductory fares starting as low as $18 each way, GO Buses’ service will arrive and depart curbside from 30th Street and 9th Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, just steps from New York Penn Station. Providence departures and arrivals will be curbside from Canal Street (between Smith and Park Row) in the heart of the city’s downtown area.

Go Buses has one of the most modern fleets in the industry.  Passengers will enjoy free Wi-Fi internet access and amenities such as outlets for electronics, an on-board restroom, ample luggage space (with a luggage allowance of 50 pounds per passenger), reclining seats with footrests, and bottles of water.

“GO Buses offer customers a new option for comfortable and convenient travel between two of the most vibrant locations in the Northeast,” says Academy President Francis Tedesco. “We look forward to providing the safest, most modern travel experience to the community of Providence at a remarkable value.”

Providence becomes the second destination for GO Buses, which currently operates service between New York and the Boston metropolitan area, with 8 round-trip departures daily. Customers can purchase tickets and find schedule and fare information at https://www.gobuses.com or by telephone at (855) 888-7160.
