The New England Patriots will officially unveil a The New England Patriots will officially unveil a 12-foot-tall statue of Tom Brady outside Gillette Stadium on August 8, 2025, ahead of their preseason game against the Washington Commanders. The date was fittingly announced on “Tom Brady Day,” June 12 (6/12), a nod to the quarterback’s six Super Bowl wins and iconic jersey number. The statue will stand alone in the plaza outside the Patriots Hall of Fame, honoring Brady’s legacy not only as the greatest Patriot, but arguably the greatest to ever play the game. Brady, 47, transformed the Patriots into an NFL dynasty during his 20-year tenure, earning six Super Bowl titles, nine AFC Championships, and 17 AFC East crowns. Drafted 199th overall in 2000, he defied all expectations and rewrote the record books. He holds NFL records for wins (251), completions (7,753), pass attempts (12,050), passing yards (89,214), and touchdown passes (649). His postseason dominance is unmatched: 35 wins, 10 Super Bowl appearances, seven rings (including one with Tampa Bay), and five Super Bowl MVP awards. The Patriots waived their standard four-year waiting period to induct Brady into their Hall of Fame in June 2024, celebrating his career in front of a sold-out Gillette Stadium. Team owner Robert Kraft previously said the statue “will symbolize his position not just as the greatest in franchise history, but as the greatest in all of NFL history.” Fans will get their first official look at the monument during a special ceremony before kickoff on August 8. #patriots #tb12 #newportbuzz #tombrady #nepatriots
