RIP Christopher C. Curry

Christopher Condon Curry 46 , of Temecula CA., died of cancer on Monday, December 5, 2016, at the Loma Linda University Hospital in Murrieta, Ca. He rallied when his family was gathered together with him on that day reliving happy memories. Chris, the son of Lee and Yvonne Curry of West Chester, PA, was born on June, 22, 1970, in Virginia Beach, VA. Chris attended elementary school in Newport, RI later moving to West Chester, Pa. where he was a graduate of Henderson High School in 1988, as a three sport athlete. Chris went on to study at Radford University and West Chester University.

Following college Chris returned to Newport where he worked in the restaurant industry until 2010 when he and his father drove across country to Temecula where Chris joined The Temecula Olive Oil Company started by his brother Thom, his wife Nancy and their partners. Chris served in several capacities in the company including special events and milling for both the company as well as olive oil growers in Northern California. Most recently he was in charge of the company’s Olive View Ranch in Aguanga overseeing the olive orchard and assisting in production at the ranch.

One constant passion in Chris’s life was lacrosse. He played in high school, at a collegiate level and went on to coach teams in PA, RI, and CA where he won two state championships.

Chris was preceded in death by his sister Colleen Dawson and survived by his siblings Thom (Nancy) Curry of Temecula, CA, Mary (Michael) Ashby of Newport, RI ,Brian Curry of New-port, RI and Shannon (Kevin)Simon of Penrose ,CA, his nieces Colleen, Cambria and Carly Curry of Temecula, CA., and his nephews Michael Ashby of Newport, RI, and Trevor Simon of Penrose, CO.

Services will be held at Saints Phillip and James Church in Exton, PA on January 13, 2017 at 4:00.
