Friday –

1 – Half priced Raw Bar (2-6pm) & Friday Night Prime Time at Top of Newport: Hotel Viking (6-9pm) features Chef Barry Correia’s popular mouth-watering slow roasted, sea-salt encrusted prime rib. $27 per person. Live Music with Betsey Listenfeld!

2 – Newport Bermuda Race (Friday 3pm)

 

3 – Sunset Boat Cruise ( Friday 6-9pm) A journalist living in Newport and her friends have a Hinckley Picnic Boat for the evening and they’re looking to meet some local creatives to join a small eclectic group of friends for a sunset cocktail cruise. Apply though YotMe.

4 – Come mingle and float on Newport’s beautiful, newly restored, vintage house-boat with old friends and new (Friday 6-10pm)

7 – Local Attractions Offer Free Admission For Newport County Residents & Hospitality Employees June 18, 19 & 20

Newport County residents and employees of the hospitality industry are invited to visit many great local attractions from Saturday, June 18 through Monday, June 20, 2016.  A total of 17 attractions/organizations are participating, including three in Bristol. Visitors showing proof of residency (driver’s license or other identification with an address) or proof of hospitality employment (business card, employee ID or pay stub) will enjoy free admission or another value as noted.

8 – Afternoon tea with Airlyn Mitchel on the harp at Hotel Viking (Saturday 2pm – 4pm)

9 – Atlantic Grills – The BBQ Bastard will throw down yet another epic clandestine grill at the water’s edge. Fest on cascading waves of grilled meats and veggies. Let’s raise a glass to the setting sun and the beginning of summer. (Saturday 5-8:30pm)

Omnivores welcome. Guests should arrive famished to best enjoy this three hour multi-course asado.

12 – Live Music with Queensboro Hustlers at Tavern on Broadway (Saturday 10pm) NO COVER

13 – Fast Times at Newport Blues Cafe (Saturday 10pm)

14 – After party house party for a local indie show. Two local Newport bands are playing the Cafe at Parlor Newport Saturday night. The show is at 200 Broadway from 10pm – 1am. Then the party will move to a great apt nearby to catch up with friends and eat some food. The crowd will be local artists/musicians & food people.
