  1. 80’s Music Video Night at Norey’s Star Restaurant:(TOP PICK) Each and every Saturday night Norey’s plays all of your favorite 80’s music videos. Each week this ends up becoming absolute sing-along dance-a-thon. (Saturday 7pm – midnight)
  2. Music on the Bricks: Free concert at Brick Market Place featuring The Playboys. (Saturday: 1-5pm)
  3. Live Jazz at Greenvale Vineyards: Admission: $3, Tastings: $12 (free for Case Club members), souvenir wine glass included. Wine by the glass: $7 – $9. (Saturday: 1pm – 4pm)
  4. Newport Polo – USA vs Scotland at Glen Farm: (Saturday: 5pm)
  5. Norman Bird Sanctuary 5K: If you haven’t already discovered the “Best 5K” in RI (RI Monthly ’12) or what a record-setting 400 runners and walkers found in 2014, you can’t miss the Norman Bird Sanctuary’s 9th Annual 5K Run/Walk in honor of David Leys, Jr. on June 20th. Traditionally held Father’s Day weekend, a breathtaking USATF course beginning and ending at NBS, the Frosty Freez Kid’s Run for the under 12 set and music to get the heart pumping welcomes both the veteran competitor and the occasional jogger. Gather your friends, family, co-workers, create a team or come out and cheer – add this race to your “must do” list! (Saturday: 7am)
  6. Newport Flower Show: Colorful floral designs, Horticulture exhibits, Garden displays, Unique shopping opportunities, Champagne & Jazz Brunch, Authors’ Afternoon Tea, Lectures and demonstrations, Children’s activities. (Friday – Sunday: 9am – 5pm)
  7. Elliot Kaminitz Father’s Day Ride at Fort Adams: Ride Newport County’s scenic coastline while celebrating the life and passion of Dr. Elliot Kaminitz.With a range of distances from 6, 10 and 25 miles, riders of all levels can participate.  Young cyclists can do a Kids “Tour de Fort”. This youth program and activity area will be hosted inside the walls of Fort Adams State Park, which will provide a fun and safe environment for kids and parents to participate.All three ride options start and finish inside Fort Adams State Park. Following the ride, food and beverages will be available for participants. Riders are encouraged to choose the distance that suits their abilities. (Sunday: 8am)
  8. RI Antique Fire Apparatus Society Annual Show at Glen Farm: (Sunday: 10am – 3pm)
