Chessie the Tiger Shark makes it to New England
It looks like our great whites will have some company in the coming days. Chessie, the largest tiger shark ever tagged on the East Coast, has been making a steady trip north from Charlestown, SC and has just past the eastern tip of Long Island and is south of Block Island.

The 12 foot shark weighing in at 1,200 pounds was tagged earlier this year off of Hilton Head.
