AMERICA’s FASTEST-EMERGING SPORT, ANNOUNCES NEW ENGLAND EXPANSION FOR 2016

Legends Football League (or ‘LFL’) and New England’s premiere indoor arena, Verizon Wireless Arena officials are announcing the arrival of the LFL’s newest expansion franchise, New England Liberty.

“We welcome what has become one of sports best LIVE experiences to Verizon Wireless Arena. New Hampshire and all of New England is rich in football history and fan fare, with the arrival of the New England Liberty, New England natives can now enjoy football year-round’, said Tim Bechert, General Manager, Verizon Wireless Arena.

The Liberty will kickoff April 2016 in the LFL’s Eastern Conference alongside the Chicago Bliss, Omaha Heart and Atlanta Steam, hosting (2) home games at Verizon Wireless Arena with the home opener on Saturday, June 25 vs. Chicago Bliss and the home finale on Saturday, July 23 vs Atlanta Steam. Tickets are set to go on-sale Tuesday, November 17 at 10am through Ticketmaster.com or by calling 1.800.745.3000 or by visiting the Verizon Wireless Arena box office.

“Launching a New England franchise was a goal we set at the inception of the sport in 2009. However, we could not locate the right arena or stadium partner. We believe Verizon Wireless Arena in New Hampshire provides us a great building and support staff as well as being centrally located within New England”, said Mitchell S. Mortaza, Founder & Chairman, Legends Football League.

New England Liberty will host an Open Tryout on Saturday, December 19, 11:30am at Turf Time Tewksbury, Tewksbury, MA. The league has begun the process of interviewing coaching staffs and an announcement of a hire will be made prior to the Open Tryout.

If the girls on this team are as good looking as Tom Brady then I’m predicting a championship right out of the gate!

Tom Brady

Let’s look at the new rankings of the New England pro teams

  1. New England Patriots (obvious)
  2. Boston Red Sox (but not for much longer if 2016 is as bad as 2015)
  3. New England Liberty (watch the video below if you don’t believe me)
  4. Boston Celtics (they’d probably be #5 if Larry Bird didn’t vindicate Brady yesterday)
  5. Boston Bruins (bad ownership group)
  6. the soccer team (it’s soccer)

and by the way, if you think this is a joke just take a look at the action!
