(via) NFL quarterback Tom Brady has endorsed Republican frontrunner Donald Trump for president.
Just days after Trump’s “Make America Great Again”hat was found in his locker, the New England Patriots star told reporters that he hopes the real estate mogul is elected.
“I hope so. That would be great. There’d be a putting green on the White House lawn, I’m sure of that,” he reportedly said on Wednesday.
Brady and Trump have been friends since 2002, according to reports. Like Trump, Brady is no stranger to controversy. The quarterback recently won his appeal for the #DeflateGate saga in which he was nearly suspended from playing for four games.
Trump made his support at the time clear, writing: “Congratulations to Tom Brady on yet another great victory – Tom is my friend and a total winner!”
Well that does it, if Tom Brady supports Donald Trump for president then so do I. That’s the way things work in New England, when the greatest man on earth speaks, you listen.
There is no equivocating here. Either you’re with Tom or you’re against him and I guess that goes for Trump now too!
