Police in the Chicago suburb Wilmette are searching for Sinead O’Connor after she went missing Sunday morning while on a bike ride. She is feared to be suicidal.
The Irish singer best know for her haunting rendition of “Nothing Compares To You” has claimed to be suicidal in the past, and has received mental-health treatment for it.
In November she posted a suicide threat on Facebook, saying she had taken an overdose because of a “horrifying set of betrayals.”
And yesterday, three hours after she left for her bike ride, she posted an incoherent message to her Facebook page that reads:
