Skout Newport Ri Bannister's Wharf

Skout Goods Drops Anchor On Bannister’s Wharf

Pop-up Space To Feature Upcoming Brands and Tastemakers

Skout Goods, an evolutionary concept space for upcoming brands and emerging artisans, has opened its doors on Bannister’s Wharf.

Dedicated to showcasing local and independent designers, the space is designed with a pop-up spirit.

The concept is simple: to celebrate talent in one of Newport’s most trafficked and beautiful locations.

First up: a shop takeover featuring Picklee, and a collaboration with Farm Fresh Rhode Island.

Awarded Rhode Island Monthly’s Best of Rhode Island award for vintage décor, Picklee is the brainchild of mother-daughter team Lisa Kasap and Jordan Reilly. Their line of repurposed and reimagined antiques and accessories has garnered a dedicated following and praise from national publications, including a recent feature in Better Homes and Gardens.

Also joining the fray for June are the culinary scouts of Farm Fresh Rhode Island. Throughout the summer, visitors to the shop can expect a rotating selection of prepared foods and refreshments from Rhode Island’s official soda and water company, Yacht Club Soda.

In the coming weeks, collaborators are expected to include: The Tuckered Trading Co., John Annetti Brand, MW Coastal, Pomp Pearls, Woodzee, and the return of CK Bradley.

Additional brand partners are due to be announced over the coming weeks. And because they’re always on the hunt, Skout is still accepting applications from interested brands and independent artists for their summer cohort.
