Head to Bowen’s Wharf on Saturday, December 7th for their 49th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting
It’s the most wonderful time of the year – twinkling lights, fragrant wintergreens, a tall ship, and a most amazing Christmas tree on historic Bowen’s Wharf. .
Frosty the Snowman joins the crowd at 4:30 pm. Lois Vaughan Trio leads the carol sing-a-long at 5:00pm. Mayor Jamie Bova lights the tree at 6:00 – the official beginning of Christmas at Bowen’s Wharf! Santa and Mrs. Claus motor into Bowen’s Basin by boat (weather permitting) eager to listen to every child’s wish. Bowen’s Wharf restaurants remain open for holiday meals. Many shops offer refreshments. FREE ADMISSION! Festivities held rain or shine, parking lot is closed from 4pm-9pm.
