Local Attractions Offer Free Admission for Newport County Residents & Hospitality Employees June 21-23

Residents of Newport County and hospitality workers are invited to experience some of the region’s most iconic and beloved cultural sites—for free or at a discount—during “Be Our Guest” Days, taking place Saturday, June 21 through Monday, June 23, 2025.

A total of 19 museums, historic sites, gardens, and attractions in Newport and Bristol Counties are participating in the three-day celebration, offering complimentary admission or special discounts as a thank-you to local residents and the hospitality workforce that helps fuel the region’s vibrant tourism economy.

To take advantage of the offers, visitors must present proof of residency in Newport County or proof of employment in the hospitality industry, such as a work ID, pay stub, or uniform.

The Preservation Society of Newport County is once again leading the effort, offering free admission to five of its most popular properties—the Breakers, Marble House, The Elms, Chateau-sur-Mer, and Green Animals Topiary Garden—on all three days. Kingscote will be open for free tours on June 21, and the Isaac Bell House will open its doors on June 22 and 23.

“Several times each year, the Preservation Society invites Newport County residents to be our guests at the mansions for free,” said Preservation Society CEO and Executive Director Trudy Coxe. “We are happy to extend the courtesy to people who work in the hospitality industry, which is so important to the local economy. We hope they will take advantage of this opportunity.”

Please note that specialty, timed-entry tours such as Hunter House, Chepstow, Beneath The Breakers, The Breakers Third Floor Preservation in Progress, and The Elms Servant Life are excluded from the free admission offer. Visitors are encouraged to download the Newport Mansions app for self-guided tours and bring their own headphones.
