UPDATED: Rampaging Mall Psychopath Kills Two In Taunton, Hero Cop Kills Psychopath & Stops Violence

A murderous rampage 35 miles north of Newport, RI, started after 28-year-old Arthur “AJ” DeRosa crashed his car on Myricks Street in Taunton, MA. According to reports, after crashing his car, DeRose then began to run around the neighborhood like a wild freak (I’m paraphrasing here but not by much) trying to break into homes. DeRosa then gained access to a home on Myricks Street and brutally attacked an 80-year-old woman and her daughter stabbing them both and killing the 80-year-old woman.

The 80-year-old woman has been identified as Patricia Slavin.

DeRosa then exited the home and jumped into a vehicle where he drove to the Silver City Galleria Mall 3.6 miles away and crashed the car into Macy’s where he assaulted at least three people.

DeRosa then turned his sights on the popular Italian Restaurant Bertucci’s and continued his rampage where he killed a 56-year-old man and stabbed a pregnant woman in the stomach.

An off-duty Plymouth County Deputy Sheriff then shot and killed the rampaging DeRosa putting an end to the senseless violence.

Bristol District Attorney Thomas Quinn said at a press conference that the off-duty Plymouth County deputy sheriff saved lives.

“It appears that but for the actions of the deputy sheriff, there may very well have been other victims,” Quinn told the gathered media.

Massachusetts State Police do not believe there is any connection to terrorism.

And not to get political at all, but chalk one up for concealed carry or this could have been much worse.
