New wildlife rehabilitation center opens in Middletown!

Wild Newport, Inc, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit that specializes in the Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Release of wildlife on Aquidneck Island has opened in Middletown with a mission to give wildlife on Aquidneck Island a second Chance through rescue, rehabilitation, and release. 

Jody Womsley Giddings, the President of Wild Newport, is a Level 2 Rehabilitator licensed with Rhode Island DEM and strives to educate the community on the importance of balance as we coexist with nature.

Jody previously owned Sea Rangers Nursery School in Newport and is now focusing on helping area wildlife.
